Shendau Acupressure Shoulder/Neck Release
An easily learned but very effective way of releasing neck and shoulder tension. One and a half hours. £30.
Hopi Ear Candling
Incredibly popular at the moment. The candles cleanse the ear and promote a sense of relaxation. The fee of £60 includes a treatment manual and certificate while everyone taking part receives and gives a treatment, including massage techniques, and receives instruction in ear exercises. Thai Hand and Foot Massage
A technique which can either "stand-alone" or be incorporated into other massage routines, reflexology or manicures/pedicures. £35, to include a manual and certificate.
Chinese/Korean/Thai Hand Techniques
Techniques which have some similarity to reflexology and can be integrated with that therapy. They also add an interesting dimension to a hand massage/manicure. £20, to include a training manual and certificate.
Seated Thai Massage
Thai massage involves a series of stretches and pressure point work on a fully clothed person. This technique involves the receiver sitting astride a chair while having the whole of the back, arms, neck, head and face worked on. The treatment works very well when “standing alone”, usually resulting in the receiver feeling more energised and stress free, but the facial techniques could be integrated into a facial massage. £60 to include a manual and certificate. Indian Head Massage
Since its introduction in the 1980s, this treatment has steadily increased in popularity and is very much in demand at the moment. It can be done on a fully clothed client or performed with oil. Some beauty therapists have successfully incorporated it into their facial treatments. Cost: £60, to include a training manual and certificate. Duration of workshop: 5 hours.
Lymphatic Drainage Massage
A six hour workshop for therapists already qualified in Swedish or Aromatherapy massage. £60, to include a manual and certificate.
Energy Balancing Massage
A massage incorporating Eastern and Western techniques. The workshop lasts five/six hours and is appropriate for those already qualified in massage. £60, to include a manual and certificate.
Back Massage
A four hour workshop for those wishing to add back massage to their treatment list. £35, to include a manual and certificate.
Angel workshops
You may wish to arrange one of these for yourselves and your clients. During the five hour workshop, we look at the Angel Hierarchy, means of communication with Angels and have some fun with Angel Cards and an Angel wheel. £20 per person, to include a manual.
Hot Stone Massage: £90!!
A wonderful way for existing massage therapists to extend their skills. Students have said this is the best treatment they have ever experienced.

Anatomy and Physiology
An absolute requirement for those wishing to study reflexology or massage. As a former Health Service clinical nurse teacher, Anne draws on years of practical experience with sick people to give insight into body systems. This course may be taken either on a distant learning basis, with opportunities to arrange tutorials as required, or as a fully taught course. Cost: £185.
Body Massage
For those already qualified in anatomy and physiology. An intensive three day course which teaches a whole body Swedish massage (including the neck, head and shoulders) and techniques for massaging people who cannot lie on a couch. A home study pack is provided and case history work done at home. £185.
Reflexology
Anne has practised this amazing therapy for sixteen years and has many stories to pass on. The course includes both theoretical and practical instruction, case history work. and a final exam. It may be taken on a flexible basis, to include the equivalent of three working days in school and a home study pack is provided. A qualification in anatomy and physiology is a prerequisite for anyone wishing to qualify in Reflexology. Cost: £250, to be paid in instalments.
Aromatology
A chance to study the properties and therapeutic uses of essential oils. While mainly theoretical, the course will also include practical work in making hand creams, body lotions, shampoos etc. The course involves attendance on five evenings/afternoons/mornings, or may be taken as a home-study package. Cost: £180, which may be paid in instalments, with a £50 deposit. A shortened practical course may be taken by therapists with an existing aromatherapy qualification at a cost of £60.
